Engineering Approval Process
Submit detailed infrastructure designs for Council engineering review.

Engineering approval is Council’s formal acceptance of your detailed proposed infrastructure designs. This process helps confirm that your designs can meet relevant technical and infrastructure standards.

Once submitted, Council engineers will assess the plans and may request changes or additional information.

Council will coordinate any required three waters assessment with Tiaki Wai. You do not need to contact them separately. Any further information requirements will be communicated to you via subdivision@huttcity.govt.nz.
